The first release of a MapPro71 dataset based on Tele Atlas' Multinet, replaces the older dataset based on Dynamap Transportation North America.

  - Adds over 200,000 mi of news road network segments, primarily in SK, NB (CAN), CA , DE, KY, MD, MO, TN (USA)
  - Better coverage of area usage (parks, industrial areas, schools, cemeteries, etc.)
  - Tighter compression for smaller data file footprint and faster access

The MapOCX Pro family is a complete programming toolkit for incorporating detailed maps and spatial information in the Microsoft Windows environment. The self-contained ActiveX control was designed for quick and simple integration of high-quality, detailed map displays into any Windows visual environment, and facilitates brief development cycles, and fast deployment.  It is indeed possible to deploy a basic mapping application (with searching, zooming, etc.) with just a few lines of code!  

The latest release of MapOCX Pro 32-bit ActiveX control SDK is MapOCX  Pro v8.0 (MapPro80).  The previous release of the product, MapPro71, Rel.2 is still supported and Undertow plans to continue releasing updated US and CANADA datasets for it, based on Tele Atlas' Multinet Data system.

Current users of MapPro71, Rel.2 may order the updated dataset and continue to use and distribute their application(s) - based on MapPro71.  You may also be interested in moving to the next generation MapPro80 SDK.
