Is Undertow Software still in business??

I have been trying for several months to contact Undertow Software.
Nobody answers the phone and no response to any of my emails.

We are looking for updated map files (newer than Q1 2012).

Anyone else having difficulty contacting this company?

Since we can't seem to get Undertow Software to respond to our communication and since it does
not appear that they offer anything newer than the Q1 2012 maps, does anyone know if the raw
TeleAtlas Multinet data files will work with the MapPro80.ocx control if we license those map files
from another source?

Please contact me if you have any information: xlsmail2000-frustrated@yahoo.com

Wow, haven't logged in here in eons :-)

Not sure if they are in business, or not, but I don't believe they are making their map control any longer. Also, as far as I know, there is no way to use the Multinet files directly with their tool. The only files that really work, are the ones they produced themselves. I know that mid/mif and other files can be imported, but they are not accessible to all the search and other facilities in their tools.

Too bad, because I liked their tool and dataset. Rumor has it that they discontinued it because they couldn't get the raw data to produce their files any longer.

That, plus all the open map free stuff, drove them out of the industry.

Speaking of which, I don't know that there is any smallish company in this market place any longer.

Sign of the times ??
