Please, organize the POIs

I have been thinking...

There is a treasure of good POI files uploaded by people here. However, the way they are organized they are impossible to find, hard to see if there are more than one POI for the same subject, etc. Why can't the owners of this forum organize all the POI files in an easy to browse list, to make it easier for us? I visit other POI sites on the web, and that's how they are organized! With hundreds, sometimes thousands, of POI files, there is no other effective way of doing it.

Who do we have to complain to to get this organized better?

Good call JJ... when this topic first started the number of entries were not very many in quantity. Now there are upwards of five pages and some kind of organization is now needed.

The big question is some categories would be obvious, like fuel. But then restaurants will need further organization, like BBQ, Chinese, Mexican, etc. Then there's subcategories like Taco Bell versus El Tepeyac Restaurant - fast food versus outstanding Mexican dining). Then there are the multiple categories, like TA for fuel and many times there's an associated restaurant.

I'll trust the Undertow admins will do a fine job making a good start of this and if they don't know where the POI then come up with a "general category" to denote they'd like some recommendations. I'm pretty sure these would be rare.
